John Bridgeland, JD is the former Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council under President George W. Bush. He is the co-founder or CEO of more than a dozen civic moonshots that have united Americans across divides to solve problems, including the Covid Collaborative, More Perfect, Welcome.US, Malaria No More, the Service Year Alliance, and Dropout Nation. He began his career by practicing law at Davis Polk, where he also had an active pro bono practice representing political asylum applicants. He was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.
