Dear Frontline Justice Community,
Are you passionate about helping others navigate legal challenges? Do you or someone you know work as a Community Justice Worker (CJW), providing legal support in areas like elder care, accessing public benefits, or drafting wills? If so, we’d love to invite you to our upcoming Community Café on Monday, October 28, at 2:00 pm ET/11:00 am PT.
We are thrilled to be joined by Linda Johnson, a dedicated CJW volunteer for Alaska Legal Services Corporation (ALSC) who focuses on elder care issues, and Sarah Carver, Co-Director of the Community Justice Worker Resource Center at ALSC.
At Frontline Justice, we are committed to addressing the access to justice crisis by fostering collaboration within the CJW community. Our monthly Community Café offers CJWs and their allies a space to connect, share expertise, explore resources, and discuss how the CJW community can be better supported. This is a valuable opportunity to learn about how the other skills CJWs bring to the table help provide holistic service while addressing legal needs! As always, we will connect, share expertise, and learn about resources for supporting the CJW community. If you are a CJW or know one, we encourage you to join us!
Please register for this event here, and keep an eye out for an invite coming your way shortly after. If you have any questions or suggestions, please reach out to us at info@frontlinejustice.org. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Best,
Frontline Justice Team
